Linda (Von) Kriteman has been involved in children, pet, studio, wedding and stock photography since the late 1970's with particular training in the photo finishing and processing areas. Our customers have said over and over again how Linda makes them feel right at home in any photographic situation. Her skills as a photographer are self-evident and she is a major contributor to the success of JonVon.

Jack (Jon) Kriteman first started in photography at the age of 13, when he worked as a photographer's assistant for a local professional in the Boston area who used a 4x5 Speed Graphic. The photography bug hit him hard and he soon went on to purchase a Nikon FTN, build a darkroom in his basement, become photography editor of the newspaper, and eventually get a Bachelors Degree in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Since the 1970's, Jack has worked for four professional studios before going out on his own with JonVon. "I LOVE taking pictures ~ capturing images ~ freezing memories ~ painting with light. When you love what you do, it's not really work."

Mr. Kriteman has a Bachelors Degree in Photography from Rochester Institute of Photography, arguably the best school in the country for such a program. Before starting JonVon Photography, he also owned his own processing & finishing lab where he catered to professionals and advanced amateurs processing Black & White, C-41 (color negatives) and E-6 (color slides) from 110 through 4x5 sheet film and offering contact prints and enlargements up to 16x20. Mr. Kriteman was shooting in medium format until he made the move to digital during 2004, when professional digital equipment was just starting to compare with film for quality.

Our studio is is capable of handling individuals, pets, babies, and groups. We have a wide variety of backgrounds, props, lights and 'rewards' for the younger clients.

Our Gallery is unique in that we can actually show you what you wall portraiture will look like in a home setting because our Gallery replicates an actual home setting perfectly.
